Local Taxi Companies

Hi

I'm sure that I've seen a 'thread' relating to this before but have just searched and can't find it?

We have always hired a car, so never used the local taxi companies, but our nephew and his wife are coming out to use our apartment in a few weeks time and they are considering not hiring a car.

Could anyone please confirm the name(s) and telephone numbers of any local companies.. and if tried and tested an indication of reliability would be appreciated!

When I was out in January I used (0034)968574105, not sure of the company name but they came to pick us up from town fairly quickly.

We always ask the restaurant to call us a taxi and they are there quite soon.

We have used a company called Inmaculada Macanas Taxi No 5 No is 0034 629 688 689 which are based in Los Alcazares and the driver is very reliable and speaks good english. 

The security guards at the gate will call a taxi for you as well as will the staff in the clubhouse and we have always found the taxis very reliable.

Could anybody give me an idea of the cost of a taxi from the Airport to Roda?

We are thinking of using our bikes on the next trip over and I have always hired a car. Can you pick a taxi up outside of the airport or is it better to book in advance?

Taxi from airport to Roda Phase 2 was 11-12 Euros this weekend, pick them up directly outside the airport terminal, no need to book.
