went out to Roda late August and took opportunity to have a look around site, fortunately able to access ground floor 2 bed apartment and took a few internal / external photos - think the shot of the swimming pool is near block 24. Have uploaded them today - enjoy!!

noticed that there is no shower in the bathroom pic, althought there does seem to be the shower head adjustment pole?

they are fitting showers are they not?

what did you think of general quality and progress?

Yes there is a shower but pics taken when having a sneaky look inside so didn't capture everything!! Apartment very dusty as work still in progress but quality of finish does seem very good, main bedroom in 2 bed apartment had good quality wardrobes and entrance door looked to be of high standard, particularly impressed with border on marble floor - especially as told by Sanchez that apartments did not have that finish.

We were supposed to complete on 7 November and made it out there to do snagging.  Although I am quite impressed with the finish, especially the marble floors, we have one or two issues that need resolving.  One issue is re the ensuite bathroom (we are a phase 1, end ground floor apartment).  They managed to install the bath and shower in such a way that it is impossible to instal either a shower screen or curtain because the window overlaps the end of the bath by about 6 inches.  What I suppose  happened was that all the baths and showers were installed in exactly the same location in all the apartments and they forgot about the window.  They realised after they had installed the taps that the shower could be installed on the same wall because of the window so they put it to the side - very ugly.  PLUS, They installed clear glass in both the ground floor ensuite and the shower room windows - and both have pathways to the side i.e. passers by would have a real good view of any activity in the bathrooms!  This is being sorted by Roda!!! needless to say!

Overall, the apartment is lovely and I am pleased although I still don't know when we will complete.

Hi All,

Completed on the 20^th , and apart from a few minor snagging issues all went well. I think the whole place is looking fantastic and will look absolutely beautiful when finished. Temp club house is very nice and everyone is very friendly. Had an excellent meal and the service was brilliant. We are back out in 6 days to sort out some other stuff and can’t wait.

I spoke to several people about the Beach Club, and they are all very positive about the completion, in summer 2007. We will be driving over to La Manga next week, so will see if there is anything going on.

did they give any idea when comercial properties will be opening and did you see if they had started hoted etc?

also , did they give you any idea about how much maintenance fees would be?

None of the commercial buildings are started yet, and the communal charge has not been set.

Also can’t load pics!!!  Re down loaded all back on pc but won’t up load on site. Will try again tomorrow
