I would like to know if anyone on this thread is actually going to be able to attendthe meeting? It seems we are all in the same boat, since the meeting has been called at such short notice and at a very bad time of the year, very tactical and underhanded in my view.
Anyway, looking through this thread, the consensus is we do not agree with the proposedbudget. There is insufficient breakdown of the costs, even if they are reasonable, to make a decision to approve them.
For example,
- what percentage of these costs are the Administrators fees?
- How much does each property contribute?
- Where is the cost breakdown for 2008, 2009 budgets for comparison?
I my opinion we need to have a voice at this meeting, someone who shares our views and is able to express them at the upcoming meeting. I think it is even worth clubbing together any paying someone to attend, it cannot workout that expensive. I would be happy to hear from someone who would be willing to attend.
On another point, no-one is happy with the Administrator and we should consider finding an alternative. They are never on site, checking the status of the resort and in my opinion are not acting in our best interests. If they are not prepared to do their job properly then we should replace them with someone who can. We should have this as an point in the next meetng for each phase.
They of course will not be happy however it needs to be done.
