Latest Info On electrical Goods

Hi all,

We are about to start furnishing our apartment and are shipping most stuff over from the UK. We were planning on buying the large electrical goods (dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer, tv) over in Spain. However, we are now wondering what the difference in price may be to the UK as Spain has looked pretty expensive of late. Can anyone give some rough idea of prices of the above in silver at the moment (from somewhere like Carrefours) ? This would enable us to decide whether there is a huge difference in what it is likely to cost or not. Thanks for any help !

Kev, The silver washing machines & Fridge freezers I saw in Spain at the usual large electrical outlets were £250 more expensive than the UK.

I can get one delivered from the UK for £90 so that's what we have done.

Just gone through the same dilemma.........

We were going to buy in spain so that if any item went wrong the warranty would stand. However, having got quotes from Real Domestic, (who are very good to deal with), and others, Real's silver pack at 1449 euros was one of the best deals I could find.

However, I have just ordered the FF, Dishwasher and Washing machine in silver from the UK for £715. Shipping costs are irrelevant because we are already shipping out furniture and if any of the items fall apart after 1 year then so be it. Even replacing 1 item would probably mean we are still quids in.

Also, I have bought Indesit and as I am aware Real Domestic stock indesit I would assume I could get hold of an Indesit engineer if needed in Spain.
