Anyone know Oasis start date?

Now La Isla is nearing completion, does anyone know when PW are likely to start the Oasis. I presume that as La Isla is going to be surrounded by water, they won't do this until the Oasis is built as I understand this is surrounded by water too.

Surely they must be putting the lake surrounding La Isla in before they hand over the apartments?  Can hardly call it ' La Building Site' !  I am no engineer but can't they section off an area adjacent to La Isla and fill it with water prior to the Oasis starting?  It seems a shame for the Islanders if this were not the case.

They are going to fill the lake in before hand over and it will go right up to where the Oasis starts, yesterday I was told the Oasis would not be started until late 2009 early 2010, the next phase to start is the villas & golf suites.

the other dates I was given is June/July for Foro and full 18 holes towards end of year.

I forgot to ask if anyone konws if the Foro will just be PW places or are they leasing units? it looks too big for PW to fill everything! need a good sports bar for the footie

When we were out there last weekend we were told that the Foro would just be PW places, though on the PW website they are advertising for interest for "commercial units", this must be for the Oasis.

It will be interesting to see what the y actually put in the Foro. Based on the latest economical climate, I can't see people jumping at the chance particularly as Condado is only jkust starting to fill up and will take a few years to really get going.

In addition, when they start on Oasis won't this be in direct competition with the Faro with what they have to offer ie: more shops, restaurants, etc....

Hope you enjoyed the Stella's Dan........as you sutrely could not have enjoyed that woeful & inept performance of your team?   In the end Harry sent a better team than he had forecasted - but then told them not to go over the half-way line.  Thought Spurs were shocking in the 2nd half....................hope fully thay will come out to play at bit more at Wembley!!

Last time we were at Wemberley we pulled up in the tranny van at some lights and sum Spudz fans in a car next to us pointed out it was that long since we'd been there that we were going the wrong way................ 10 years on and we ain't been back since !

Is that a van full of Trannys or a vehicle made by ford?
