Update

Has anyone recently completed on La Herenia de Casares and perhaps already moved in?

we tried to complete but the bank would not grant a mortgage so we are speeking to the developer as he is in breach of contract it is now in our lawyers hands and we hope to get our money back if anyone has any news it would be greatly appriciated.

I am interested to hear why you say the developer of La Herencia de Casares is in breach of contract. The apartments were completed on time, were they not?

Like jglassar, we have also been unable to get a mortgage.  We also are hoping to get our deposit back and wondering what your strategy is. How do you mean that the developer is in breach of contract. We are also concerned that due to the difficulty getting mortgages, the development will be like a ghost  town(American slang for empty).

i have just heard from my lawyer that the developer is looking to going bankrurpt. has anyone got any news. we are in spain next week to try and get more information,any info greatly appreciated.

 I haven't heard that, but I will contact my lawyer to have him look into it. Also, I was wondering about a class action suit against the developer rather than individual law suits. I would like to poll anyone on the forum for their thoghts about this.

hi to anyone out there, have heard today that developer is going into commercial bankrupcy and we have untill 28th of december to register a claim,though we are likely to be at the back of a very long que and get nothing back, we have been offerd a slightly reduced price to purchase, anyone with any info please help.
