Hi i was reading about the ley 57 law , i purchased a property in 2006 of plan when the property was complete two years later the credit crunch had hit, we paid 149,000 euro deposit with 70% mortgage from barclays bank, the bank would only offer us a 50% mortgage so by law we were able to have our deposit returned from the developer, they said they had no money, we took them to court 2 yaers later after winning in court and 10,000 euro later our lawyer told us there was only enough money to pay the bank and spanish taxes , so we lost everything, so if the developer goes bust who gives us our money back

Hi i am looking for someone to maintain my pool and cut the grass ect aprox 2 hours per week,we live 2 k from sabbinilas,NOT FAR FROM LA CHOZA RESTAURANT, any help would be appreciated

HI All
We completed on 10th August 2012 - 6 years from first setting eyes on the developement! Phil & I will be over between 4th November and 9th November and then from 20th December for 2 weeks, please feel free to pop bye and say hi if you are there we are 9A ! I understand Brendan Malony in block 7 is the vice president and he has been very helpful , I am sure you probably will have met him at some point. I also have been intoduced to Coco, Spanish/French lady who has the two block at the top of the developemnt on the same side as the pool, she speaks ENglish and introduced me to Paco (Handyman) & Anna (Cleaner) a great team with excellent work, charging 10 euros per hour - everyone is very helpful and eager to get the developement up and running. Brendan and Inga and their son Tony has been the sole occupants on the developement for the past 4 years!!!!! Hope to meet you all in Spain soon!

Hi ,If anyone out there put a deposit on these properties and lost as we have. They are now for sale through the bank at a greatly reduced price ,and we have just purchased the appt we put the deposit on 6 years ago,Anyone wants any info leave a message.

We put down 30% deposit with a garanteed mortgage of 70%the property was completed on time,we then went over to complete, , then the credit crunch, Barclays sa then said we will only offer 60%, we came back to the uk raised more money, flew back to spain a month later, Barclays then said they could only lend 50% due to the financial climate, we had a meeting with our lawyer and developer as the contract said we were entiteled to half our money back and go to court and fight for the rest,the developer sat there and said he has no money,so there we have it.
