NEW YEARS EVE

Yep, I too hope you all have a great night at Roda, and that new friends are made and a fantastic night is had by all. I on the other hand will be in our main square, in Los Montesinos, seeing in the New Year with our Spanish and English friends, and if it’s anything like last year it will be excellent. And no we won’t be looking for a 2 for one deal...................that’s Tescos.

The point being we have all bought on a 5 star resort with 5 star facilities and after spending £360000 on a villa I do not have the audacity or would not lower myself to ask for maybe 5 euros off the price of  a meal. If thats the way you are you should have bought a place in benidorm or the likes

You to are one of these busy bodies who think they can talk down to people. I bet you are one of those people who goes to the yellow label counter in the supermarkets to get the bargains that will go stale the next day all for the sake of saving 2p........

You can get decent apartments in Torrevieja....   I rest my case

I think Angelita has posted what a lot of us are thinking, this petty squabbling has got to stop.

I do know that this was a much happier and much more informative forum prior to Wangy joining,  what a 42 carat plonker!

Oh masters you have got it in one.  Of course he is 42 carat, he wouldn't settle for 18 like the rest of us commoners. 

This is the last post I will make in reference to "wangys" comments.  I haven't seen or heard him give any constructive feedback or help to anyone on this forum.

How dare you!  Noone cares what price you paid for your villa or if you are going to the Gambia for New Year.  Talk is cheap - but of course yours would be more expensive than anybody elses!!  I do not need to come on a website to boast about what I have!  

Oh and by the way YOU ARE STILL MISSING THE POINT!  I don't think I ever asked for a discount at the clubhouse so stop jumping to conclusions.

Sheraton actually have hotels in Grand Bahama and Puerto Rica.

Sheraton tends to be a bit americanised for me - suspect the Kariba Beach resort in Gambia is a bit more authentic experience.

Theres also a Sheraton in Athlone but thats not very popular either????

I stayed in the Sheraton in Fuerteventura last month which was a nice chill out break

Don't you think it is time this thread was ended?

We are planning to come out for a week from the 27th, does anyone know the shop times for the larger supermarkets and say Carrefour in Cartagena?? Are they open as usual between Christmas and New Year?
