Hello, is their anyone out there who is in the same position as me who bought off plan throught Instant Access and their property should have been completed in May 07. I seem to be getting nowhere fast as Instant Access don't seem to be doing anything and I took on a Spanish Solicitor in England who after taking £3500 off me and also getting nowhere , I am now at my wits end as what to do next. I have a bank gaurantee which seems to stand for nothing in Spain even thought the developer San jose is in breach of contract. Boy these spanish must be laughing all the way to bank. If anyone else has any news whatsoever or heard any snippet about this development I would love to hear about. Thanks.

I have also bought via Instant Access. As of yesterday they are not continuing to finance lawyers to reclaim our deposits. What are you going to do about that? I'm not sure whether to go via another lawyer. Have you heard any update?

What is everyone doing about the latest update with El Pinet? Are they going with the spanish branch of the company, or waiting to see what happens.

A Residence Commitee has been set up with a Chairman, Treasurer and Representatives for each "M". There has been a blog from Felix saying this and that no more money would be paid to SJ for the time being. They (SJ) are supposed to be back on site this month to carry on with the roads and lighting. As they say we will see!!

As for the electric meters, the mains water and electric supplies connected, maybe someone else who views the messages can tell us.

I hope this has answered some of your questiones.

Apparently San Jose are fixing the waste system first and El Pinet going ahead

I have been advised by a well respected lawyer who posts on EOS that i should wait for my house at El Pinet

Given the circumstances i would prefer my money back as i am fed up with the whole thing like most people

I made a big mistake getting involved with SJ even though i knew in my heart that something was very wrong 5 years ago, i made an even bigger mistake trusting my then lawyer to act as a professional  should

Life is short so today i am a happy bunny, i am breathing etc etc, San Jose cannot take away my joy and i intend to enjoy each lovely day regardless of wether i get my house or not even if it is freezing cold and raining!

Thank you all for your information .It would seem that this is the same info my lawyer is giving me . I guess we will have to wait and see . Meantime I am in litigation for the return of my money I can not trust SJ again their customer care is appauling and I no longer wish to be involved in a mess they have created through greed and mis management and dare I say illegal practises . regards JA

JA Don't worry, the habitation license will need to be in place before i sign anything, i would not consider signing without it in place otherwise i would not legally be able to live there or rent out. I also have what appears to be a good lawyer now (time will tell) who i think may be yours too but thanks anyway for the offer! I also have a bank guarantee with an illegal date on it but who knows i may get my money back, then again "Pigs might Fly"

El Pinet is waiting for their habitation licence which the town hall has said they will issue once the work is finished at El Pinet

Some people have completed and are already living there or letting out, this however is illegal and that is why some people may want to wait for the licence, it is not illegal to complete on the property but it is illegal to live in the property or let out

We are waiting for the builders to return, i know someone who lives there and i am going over in March so i will post on here when i get back with any news

Hello FAR,

There are some 200 plus propertys where people are in residence and others who rent out. The sooner this is sorted the better for all.

They said they (SJ) would be starting work after Christmas!! The authorities are happy to take money in taxes.

Hello FAR,

That is good news!  I belive the roads and lighting are the first thing. Then they are going to complete the propertys (hold breath) after that.

Have they got a time scale for the schedule of work?

I will make a note of the blog.

Many thanks

Hello 9_ Palms

It is indeed good news! San Jose have now got some of the money which was authorised through the court

The builders in Spain work very quickly, there is not an awful lot to finish so hopefully it will be a short time to completion and to getting the LFO

El Pinet is a little jewel and it is not hard to imagine how special it will all look

Hi FAR,

I'm pleased JOST are back as they are quick in what they do. Not sure about SJ, but it is their "Flag Ship" site so they are going to get going and finish.

I am fortunate in that I have a completed property and a lovely view. It will be nice for all who have paid (€500+) to say the same.

Thanks again
