I started a 2nd thread as the first wasn't allowing posts and most of the comments had already been removed/ lost.

I sympathise with Justin and the team. This is obviously a sustained and malicious attack against EOS by some warped individual. I also see the javascipt navigation menu has gone, so perhaps this is where the code was placed?

I have seen reports in the past of websites being held to ransom by rogue developers threatening to take a site down if payments aren't made, I hope this isn't happening here.

Mark

Hi Mark

I tried to post on a similar vane 30 minutes ago and couldn't, I had four viruses arrive at 12-26-10 today all as previously outlined. thankfully my protection delt with them.

Something is not right here.

Best of luck Justin, dont let the bastards beat you!

Steve

THREAT DETECTED, THREAT DETECTED !!!

This happened many times so hubby told me stay clear till Justin emailed site was secured.

Glad we're back.

It's obviously perfectly safe now

No more threat warnings any where, time to let this drop "dead"

Well done Justin and all the Team, good job well done!

Hopefully, mine will be the last post on this subject...................

A couple of times recently I have had virus warnings whilst on this site.  I did not want to 'blame' the site and just shut everything down and started again to be safe.  Luckily I have good anti virus.  I don't want to be a trouble maker, but it would appear that something is not right.

I wondered what happened, I had the same problem, all of sudden google prevented me from accessing the site, something about malicious software installed and I should contact theadministrator, kind of hard to do if you can't get to the web site.

Tish, have you cleared your cache?  If you haven't, try clearing your cache and see what happens.  Don't know if it will help, but it might!!

Hi Jan,

I've just logged in again and all is fine..no threats of anything sinister. Just as well as I wouldn't have a clue what a cache is let alone know how to clean it up!!
