I've just found a Record rent a car red wallet which is given to you with your car hire agreement inside.
On the reverse is a map showing you how to exit and return to the parking area.
Inside the wallet where they place the agreement is a map to show you where the nearest garage is in El Altet.
Never studied this before, normally in a hurry to pick up car and get home.
If you are arriving in the evening, it might be a good idea to pack a small pocket torch so that you can check the car for any dents before you leave (scratches don't matter but everything else should be logged on map of car at foot of form and signed by hire car rep in garage. The garage isn't that bright and it might be difficult to see after dark.
