This my introduction,my husband and I are moving to Santiago de la Ribera in Aug/Sept,we currently live in Tenerife.
I use a great forum in Tenerife and have made many new friends,i hope you are all friendly here also.

Does anyone know the Sandiago de la Ribera area,any info would be great,Bars restaurants etc.

Many on EOS know the area well but most don't seem to post nowadays. Candyfloss on EOS (that's Gina, my mate) has an apartment in Santiago de Ribera. Annie21 has a place near Gina (Los Alcazares I think) & I know of others but their site name escapes me. Much has been discussed re bars, restaurants, etc in that area.

We are in Santiago and love it. (Not living full time yet) Have found lots of new places to go and every time we go there are new places popping up all the time. Will dig them out and let you know.

Just seen something on another forum which might be good, have passed it a few times but has been recommended as a great place for spanish food. It's called Mama Antonios off the main town (I think it is round by the fountain).
