Hi,

We've posted this on the Jumilla board but it also seemed right to re-post here - hope that is OK.

First of all, to anyone involved in the Jumilla situation, may we say how sorry we are to hear of the problems facing people who were further along the buying process than we were. We wish you all the very best of luck in getting the solution you want - whether it be your house or a refund.

We only got as far as placing our reservation deposit but when we received the contract from San Jose, alarm bells rang as our own due diligence showed that  it was illegal under Spanish Law (something our Spanish Solicitor - PSI - didn't even pick up!). We tried to get it changed but to no avail, so we pulled out of the deal and ended our dealings with PSI. We also found, again from our checking, that the claims made by Ambasun regarding the licences were incorrect (we wouldn't have even paid the deposit had they not claimed that all licences were in place).

Since that time we've spent hours on the phone with Ambasun and sent many emails but they have, quite frankly, been a complete waste of time. Talk about take your money & run!

Anyway, we have now got our letter regarding the administration & know we need to register our claim. However, as the claim is for just 3k euro we see no point in spending a further 2-3k euro on legal fees to try to recover it. We would, however, still like to register the claim.

Can anyone help us with the text of a letter we could use to send to register our claim? I believe it needs to be in Spanish, hence the need to ask for help.

Best wishes

Steve & Susan

Please, keep in touch.

Best regards.
