I know Estepona very well and I really like the place.  It's about 10 minutes from us.  It used to be a bit of a nothing place but over the past couple of years they've really transformed it into a great little town.  Good shops, excellent beach, etc, etc.

With regards renting, take a look at the long term rentals here:

Jobs, well that's more complicated.  I wouldn't imagine there would be very many.  You would need to speak Spanish if you wanted a proper job.  Maybe someone else can advise on this as I've never looked for a job around here.

Thanks for your reply, I have seen a few properties on this website that we like and have contacted the owners.

Thanks again Lee

From what I have heard moderator you have never worked a day in your life - all coffee and vino sitting in the sun all day. LOL

Estepona is great - still very Spanish - good fresh produce market - 52 weeks of the year something going on - sprawling area and a lot of development. Work wise unless it is bar work as per your other thread or cleaning or something like that probably not a great deal to offer unless you have Spanish or want to get involved in real estate but that is a very tough market at the moment. Dont assume that youy are going to make a fortune and it is not cheap to live - depends on lifestyle of course but even then its not cheap as chips as a lot of people assume.
