 I see the rumours have started again about moving Spanish families into some of the empty properties, or using the land next to urbanisations (not likely to be in demand for many years for private housing) to build affordable houses.  This has rumbled on in Almeria for a few years - so far nothing new built - but there are rumours now that on some of the golf resorts town halls might move families into empty properties.    

Now, I may well be a lone voice here, but in my opinion, what a lot of these ghost towns would really benefit from is integration with the nearest pueblo, and more Spanish families!!   I am sure lots of people will disagree....................
