What is the best advice you can give to a single, white female, intendng to move to Spain in the next 1/2 years?

I am a single white female here in Spain and can say I have had no problems as such...with the exception of meeting other people who are single and free...most of my friends are married or have children which means we cannot do things that I would really like to do.
If there is anything specific I can help you with, please let me know.

Thanx 4 responding to my thread! My name is Jean, I am British, living in the north-east of England. I am hoping to move to Spain in the next year or so. Are you on msn, or better still do you have Skype (from which you can speak, as if you were on the telephone, via your computer)? There are so many things I'd like to ask you and it would be so much easier if we could chat via Skype.

Hi, I have purchased a property on Sierra Golf via MASA. You may not know it is over 3 years late, my question is, having paid the builders two thirds of the money, Am I entitled to my money back plus loss of interest etc etc, if I am, how do I go about it?

Maria,
I've recently taken out a morgage with UCI and they are insisting I take out additional Life Insurance for 120,000 Euros for my wife and myself at a cost of 1200 Euros per annum, despite having £300,000 UK Life Insurance, which they say they don't accept.
Is there anyway around this exceptional cost?

Hi,
The developers finally finished our apartment block 5 months ago this was 18 months behind schedule. We are just about to sign for our property, after getting a Spanish mortgage, and the developers are asking us for community charges for 5 months prior to us signing. Can they do that when we have not purchased it yet?
