MM, it seems some are having difficulty in identifying your or my commenst, to when we quote what others have said.
Not surprising some get in a mess when they can understand a simple writing on a forum

I agree with Suemac,.There is never any positivity on this forum any more and that's such a shame.

I think FIN & MM should have their own thread, so those of you who wish to continue with the arguments they seem to be having can do so without involving this forum, then perhaps we can get back to posting about real issues that concern those people unfortunate enough to be caught up in this whole sorry mess.

So people claim they have been conned, claim they have been mis-sold, claim they have been given poor legal advice, claim they have lost considerable sums of money.
Then, you then expect people to be positive?

Then others come on here and claim the solution to the problem is to buy and overpriced property, and without giving any details, claiming confidentiality.
Is it such a wonderful deal that they are afraid that if they gave out the details, they would be sold out of properties, which would be unfair to others?

I agree mostly with your post but what I mean by positivity is,people sharing information about the SADM situation and posting information they have received from the legal teams etc. I know we have all been shafted and the tunnel does not have a great  great deal of light at the end of it but we used to get far more posts on here relating to the administration process.

But other than claims under BGs, there is surely little that purchasr's lawyers can advise on, as until the matter regarding administration is resolved, there is little anyone knows or can do, so the last thing purchasers want to read about or be tempted into risking even more, it a false hope that someone will take over their lost deposit, when all with sense know that there is "never a free lunch".

You may consider my comments to be negative, but if I can save just one reader from losing more money, my name will come true.

It is probably 2 years ago or more, that there were warnings and questions asked about this development, and at that time there were also attacks claiming a negative attitude. Shame some didn't take not instead of complaining.
If you want me to put on a pair of rose tinted glasses and write a glowing report then sorry, can only comment on what the facts are.

Has anyone any news from the courts or San Jose. All i keep getting is wait till the courts make decision and these things take time. So if any one can share or shed any light please feel free to put it on the forum .

SADM is going to be built anyone who still wants their house can have it very soon and any one who wants their money back can have an immediate refund .

SJ are an honest company who have always told the truth to their customers they have gone to great lengths to  apologise for the pain and misery they have caused  both in  public and in  the numerous written correspondence with their customers.

SJ will compensate every one with a cash bonus ,furniture package and air con they  will also  will pay for all costs and legal expenses incurred through their errors, mistakes and greed   .

SJ are a well run company  honest and trustworthy all allegations that they are criminals are a complete misunderstanding .

Dave's deal re Playa Golf is a great deal and every one will be able to take advantage by  using their cash bonus from SJ  as a down payment on a second property at Playa  Golf  .

The property prices in Spain are soaring and all will make a huge fortune .

The recession is over and the world economy is booming .

There are far to many jobs throughout the world unfilled therefor unemployment and redundancy are things of the past .

Again FIN, I agree with you. But I am not endorsing any other development be it with Dave or any one else. But as you are aware people will grasp at straws and if you are able to transfer your deposit then that may be a way out. I looked at a development  near Fortuna that was legit but it wasn't for us. I understand your concern regarding Playa Golf, but people have to mke their own decisions regarding their money. I understand that both you and MM are only offering your opinion but does i have to be in such an aggresive way?

It is because things were "prettied" and "flowered" up, with promises of rental returns and increased values that many got caught in the begining.

Not at all. It is up to people to believe what they want and make their own decisions. What is strange is that if people come on here and "spin", many will do no research and believe it, yet if someone comes on here and questions or suggest people question matters, it gets the sort of reaction which you are now showing.
Why employ a good independet lawyer then act on what you read on a forum. Pure suicide. But there are those that will, so best they know both sides. Wouldn't you agree, or would you prefer to read fiction only on here?
Look back at early postings when it was suggested that research be done at the Town Hall regarding Licences. The response from some was that it was scaremongering. Are all Licences in place with all due fees paid yet (18 months on)?

From another thread about transferring deposits at SADM to other properties .Sorry Nigel your deposit is a complete irrelevance .You have been conned and Dave helped ! Hi Tracey   I had the same thoughts; I can’t see any point in attending I am virtually out of the contract and have no wish to go through this again. There are thousands of “Off Plan Buyers” who are in the same boat as us, and no doubt there are companies trying to make money out of it. There was an add in the Costa Blanca News the other week for a Azucena at Playa Golf for €105,000 the asking price just 18 months ago would have been €220,000 !!!      I have a place in Spain and in my view it’s going to take a long time before we see those sort of prices again, if ever. We will modernize the one we have and just use it for extended holidays.

MM please refrain from calling me a con man. Yes you can get many many RE-SALE properties very cheap 105,000 for an Azucena is quite dear, I know of one for sale at 99,950 also know of a Tulipan for 65,000 and one for 68,000 but I repeat RE-SALE not new, unlived in. You show me a new Azucena for under 150,000 or a new Tulipan for less than 135,000.

The San Jose sales office on Playa Golf currently are selling new Azucenas for 230,000 and Tulipans for 196,000 now thaqt is a mark up I agree, and that is where your deposit is irrelevant.

So do they have purchasers kicking down their doors to be first in line to buy?

You pay 170.000€

Suppose it has to be said that seeing his Lairdship and wife have been in such a jam and a mess themselves, that they would be more sympathetic towards others who have suffered and steer them away from possibly more grief.
Perhaps that's all they can see is another house to clean?
