New Spar Shop Opens in Huecal Overa

For anybody interested, there is a new shop that has just opened in Huecal Overa run by a realy nice British couple. It is situated on the same street as Clares Bakery and the old Pepper Tree cafe, also on this road is a great dentists above the Post office, I have checked the prices out and most of the UK food is alot cheaper than Mercadona and Intermarche, they have a really good range and will get most things in if requested. They are aiming to please the Spanish and British market so if you are passing call in and check it out for yourself.. christmas puddings are in at the minute... ha ha

The area around Huercal Overa is very attracvtive  and when the new road to Pulpi and via mountains to San Juan de Los Terreros is finished circa late 2010 it will be very close to a great sandy beach-20mins depending on how fast you drive!

Now I do like the area as my winter home [ one day full time] is near HO...ready Jan 2010

It is a very attractive Town and also it has the 7th best hospital in EU!......which for those who are getting older!..is very attractive 

In this location a 2 bed villa on a 200m2 plot is circa asking price 139.000 € - andif you want something special there are builders to build to your design in and around very nice residential areas
