I have just received this reply from my MEP.
Dear Mr Allen,
I write further to my email of 30 July with regard to your property in Spain.
I have received a reply from Denise Holt, British Ambassador to Spain, a copy of which I attach for your perusal. Whilst the Ambassador cannot become involved in the dispute the Embassy and UK government can continue to press the Spanish authorities on the wider property problems and difficulties so many people like yourselves face.
I am still awaiting a reply form the Spanish Permanent Representative and will revert to you again when I have received a response.
