I've personally spent a lot of time doing so (I've sent you lots of info by PM) & Karen actually said  ....."you can use a company other than Telefonica ( cos you usually have to wait for them! ) and have it installed quickly."

Don't take your frustration out on us please. You aren't doing too well on your own !!

I won't post further & I suspect neither Karen, nor anyone else will, if you choose to take this attitude.

Where were you hoping to rent? I ask this because I have broadband information ( and NO, I don't sell broadband myself ) and it may be relevent but it would depend upon which area you choose.

It is almost impossible to get renal with active internet because the person who owns the property would have to pay the broadband rental all the time, even when no one was renting the property. In these strained economic situations an owner will not want to accumilate additional expenses.

However, there are other broadband solutions on the market in Spain, which can be installed very quickly, once you know where you're going to live.
