I emailed Luis on Wednesday querying a couple of points with the quota & he phoned me on Thursday evening to discuss them. I have told him to expect his email in box to curl up & die as I am sure that the volume of queries is going to cause it to fail.
There have been a number of queries with the quotas, especially as ground floor apartments are still being charged for lifts & stairwell lights.He told me that the quota figures are to be discussed at the next meeting which could possibly be in May.This worries me, given the complete shambles that the last meeting was as I do not believe that everyone will be able to get their voice heard.
Luis also stated that the community fees need to be paid in the meantime though!
The first payment is due in March & they are going to request that on the 31st March. Future payments are then due on the 1st of each month but they are giving leeway until the 10th April because of the 1st payment being taken. Then from the 1st May payments will be due on the 1st.
The €100 is to be charged pro rata so if you completed 10 months ago, you pay the full amount but if you completed 4 months ago, you pay €40 & so on. I didn't quite catch how they are going to deal with that though.
Luis is going to put together a form for people to indicate what their snagging issues are & I am going to help him collate that information so that he can approach KM with say 20 people have TV reception problems, 50 people have damp problems etc in the hope that this might progress these matters.
Also, I have had an email from Monica, thanking me for the information that I gave her at the meeting, detailing the issues that had been raised via the email list. She has also said to let her know if there is anything else as she is meeting with the VP's, Luis & others during the week of 14th April.
