Polaris World Furniture Packages

Has anyone bought a Polaris Furniture package and if so what was the experience ? We're thinking of buying white goods and furniture from Polaris and then stocking the kitchen from IKEA.

Is sourcing everything yourself from IKEA etc feasible if you aren't in the country for long ? What is their furniture like ?

Has anyone found a decent secure storage unit for placing in the parking bays underground ?

We finally completed on Estragon 3 in Phase 7 yesterday after the grass had been laid and are expecting the pool to be open towards the end of May.

Looking forward to many evenings in the lovely Wine Bar in Sucina.

We furnished our apartment almost completely with IKEA furniture except for two storage beds for the main bedroom which we got from Meubles Direct (on the road towards Los Alcazaresand next door to Ilucom lighting).    A British couple run it so no problems with communication and, if you are thinking of renting it out, single beds are a better option.   There is also a DIY/hardware shop in the same parade.

To get the IKEA furniture home, we hired a van from the hut in their car park.   Our cost was 99 euros plus 300 euros refundable deposit for the mileage we did from IKEA to HR and back.  They expect you to return the van with a full tank though.

We got and extendable table (can take up to twelve) but only six seats, TV unit, coffee table, bookcase, sofabed with removeable covers, two single beds, bedside cabinets and most of our lighting, butcher's block on wheels (to put the microwave on), crockery, cutlery, accessories and wallprints from IKEA and will be happy to send you some pictures if you want to pm me,     My pics of the air con units are already in the photos section.

We bought some from Homestyle, some from DFS, some from La Oca in San Javier. We are going to get all the kitchen stuff from IKEA.

I was interested in your comment about the wine bar! Where abouts is this (or is it a closely guarded secret). Is there anywhere good to eat close to HR?
