Hello All,
Just returned from GM IV after being there for 6 days. The weather was mostly sunny except for last Sunday when the heavens opened, still had a good time though.
Snagging - Peter was on a roll, he knocked on our door one morning and 30 mins later 5 snagging jobs had been completed....so far so good.
Pool Area - The pool was not clean but too cold to use anyway at this time of year. The pool area lights were on for 1 day only, the rest of the time we were in the dark. There was no evidence of maintenance (lots of large weeds and rubbish everywhere)
Security - I checked the apartments that I know are occupied and there were no signs of break ins. There was a security guard on site every evening (good sign)
Construction - There were several workers on site working mostly on completing phase 1 however work was also being carried out on phase's 2 & 3
General Stuff - The auto gate was not working for a period of time, we were locked out (not too bad) One man living there was locked in (heard him calling Peter at 5am as he attempted to go to work)
Had an interesting conversation with GM III maintenance man who explained he was not employed to look after GM IV however would be doing stuff (pool cleaning etc...) to ensure the place looks good for 2008.
We also heard that someone using eyeonspain is trying to keep everyone sweet about the golf course situation for their own benefit.
