It's BACK..........

I would be grateful if someone could let me know if Punta Prima is a hard water area, that is, does the tap water leave calcium deposits in the kettle.

Nice chat the other day.

When i signed, i stayed in a private apt. in La Zenia, the kettle/iron etc was choked full of white limescale.

I think the same would be at Punta Prima area, so while at La Recoleta, we are using bottled water in our kettle, cooking and iron.

Bottled water is cheap anyway !

Hi jon,Yes it is a hard water area.So for drinking bottled water is the way to go.One of our mates out there had a water filter fitted to her tap.Therefore she doesn't have to carry bottles from the supermarket.Not sure how much it cost but I suppose you'd recoup your money over time.
