Extension of UK furnished holiday lettings rules to EEA until 2010

How do people feel about getting together one weekend here in Coto Real. All the neighbours can then introduce themselves to each other and we can discuss various "community matters".

I was thinking about Easter or one of the bank holiday weekends in May. We could meet in the gardens ( all contribute with some food and a bottle) or I'm sure we could find a bar/cafe that would be willing to accomodate us.

Failing a common date (which looks likely at this stage) we could set up a private email group until we all get together in person.

That means things can be discussed in total privacy between ourselves.

Have been for a walk around the new phase - its looking very nice! Some of the pools have been filled and all the cranes have gone now! Theres very few builders on site now and its very peaceful!

Our new security guards seem very concientious, they are always walking around the site and checking out any cars that enter.

Great to hear that the new Phase (is that Phase 2 ?) is coming on leaps and bounds since we were last there.

Chris from RYF reckoned it will all be finished by the summer, then they can re-surface the road.

That will make a huge difference to the look of the place.

Comforting that Security are on the ball and visible.

hi  maureen i am in the samos block 212..and in theory after some teething probs with water and electricity as well as some snagging probs then wiht the furniture company.. things at lond last settled down now and im looking for ward to sit ont hat terrace wiht a glass of coctail in may and in july.. dont like these commmunal charges i think there bit on the steep side..but i guess this is spain. see whats happens when the meeting takes place.
