Hi all,

Does anybody know if it's worth employing a professional snagging company, in order to check for problems with the property once built.  If yes, which is the best company to use ?

Thanks.

Simon & Caroline Murray (Phase II).

Hi Simon and Caroline

I was thinking along the lines the lines of getting together to employ a company to do structural surveys for us as well as snagging. Perhaps if we got together we could get someone suitably qualifeied to act on behalf of us all.

Richard Clarke might also be able to help us with this. Anyone interested please advise.

Sean

Hi Sean,

We'd be really keen to join together to employ an independent company to perform a survey and produce a snagging list.  I'm sure that the build quality will be fine, but no doubt there will be some problems that need rectifying.

Cheers.

Thanks for thinking of me Sean, however...................... im thinking that it will be an awfull lot of work on my plate just as the summer season starts to kick in. It wouldbe wrong of me to agree to take on such an undertaking then realise that my work and business commitments with my property management company is suffering because im spending a lot of time every week on site and with the builders. I wouldnt want to let anyone down, especially as I have a lot of people wanting to use our management services.

Im happy to advise anyone and even go with them to do a snagging inspection, after all ive sold a lot of houses in San Juan and have bought several off plan things myself so I know the ropes, but any involvement further than that is probably best done by a company such as this one (who are actually based in San Juan).

I know Dave and Gill personally so if you need an introduction ill be happy to oblige.

If you require any further input Ill be glad to advise.
