we have uploaded photos taken on our visit to site 29/10/07.
they show the 3 bed show house, the excavations for the pool and the progress on the club house.
there is a new girl on site called ellie (she actually started on 29th) who is scottish but speaks excellent spanish. she has lived in granada for 11 years and has vast knowledge of the area.
consequently we have discovered the following
1. site will not be ready until sept 08
2. no second phase is planned prior to completion date above, this potentially means that 2nd phase may be developed after habitation of 1st phase.
3. club house is to provide spanish lessons for those who want.
4. there will be a toilet block by the pool as well as a small bar.
5. all units will have light flex only and no light fittings on the ceilings.
the weather was pleasant enough, clear skies 18 degrees. we flew into malaga airport, 1 hour 15 mins to get to site. last week the first snow fell on sierra navada mountain range. we visited the ski resort at pradolano and liked what we saw. beaches at salobrena, almunecar and nejar left a lot to be desired. next visit will look at beaches east of motril. anyone already visited that way shout up and let us know what you thought it may save us a trip!
