we are still trying to get a copy of the bank guarantee from the developer.

Has anyone seen / received theirs yet and was it posted to you.

Can you advise if you have received a copy of the bank guarantees yet?

We are about to commit to buying one of the townhouses and as this is our first time buying abroad we are a bit nervous.

We are also looking for an independant Spanish lawyer. Any recommendadions?

We have only seen a scanned copy of the bank guarantee via our solicitor. we are going to site in Late Oct and will hopefully get an original copy then.

This is our first time buying abroard therefore feel unable to recommend a solicitor. We are using The International Law Partnership or John Howells. They seem ok but some say they are a bit pricey.

We'll hear how you get on in October. We hope to go out in March 2008 and have a look. We went round the site at the end of July and things looked good. We saw the show townhouse with all the furniture in it and I think that sold it for us.

I have some photos and when I master this computer I'll post them on our site.

We are new to the site and have read all the messages with interest. We are purchasing an apartment which we reserved 18 months ago so it’s nice to see things really taking shape. We have not been out for over 12 months but will be going out at the end of October. Would like to see your latest photos ferryman so can you post them please.

Our Lawyer has had the Bank Guarantee but said it was wrong as it did not include the VAT  - she was trying to resolve this as she said it should by law. We had also been given a completion date of Sept 08 so April is a bit of a surprise - we will speak to the Developer when we go over in October to get the latest news and also get some pictures of the apartments - does anyone have any up to date pictures of the show house / apartment ?
