Finally its ours!!

Hello anyone,  Just to say to anyone who has bought in Spa Valley, Welldone & god what a buy!! We have just arrived home yesterday after a whirlwind trip to arrange a mortgage & sign our Title deeds, it was a very busy few days after such a long wait, but well worth it!! The apartment grounds are so classy & very well finished off, we stayed in the Spa in Archena & drove around some parts we haven't seen before and liked it much more, found a supermarket & lots of buliding work going on & some fantastic new villas, just finshed & much more going up. we drove to Alicante to fly home, & was very surprised it only took about 1 hour. We drove to a huge shopping complex in Murcia only 15 mins away, where there is an Ikea,Cinema,Bowling and a massive superstore'Alcampo' which sells everything, from food to furniture, to clothes & tools, well worth a visit. We called back to the apartment when we got the keys for a well deserved drink on 'our own' terrace, there was a handful of people already staying & using the pools etc.. We drove back at night to see all the lights on in the gardens which we lookout over, & it looked perfect - really quite & peaceful.

We have also got an apartment in Spa Valley and have stayed in it a few times now.  We've been the only people in the whole complex!  We really like Archena, favourite restaurant is El Carril near the bridge and can recommend Meubles Valle de Ricote if you need furniture - Antonio who owns it speaks English if that helps. 

We are going back in April and hoping they will heat the pool by then and there might be a few more people using their apartments. 

We were in Spain last week, we stayed in the apartments, but the pools wern't heated although in the heat during the day the big under cover one wasn't too cold!

We had a really nice week there, just finishing off furnishing, most of ours is from Ikea & Leroy Merlin, very good stuff!

We met a couple who were very nice from scotland & there was others staying there, more than at xmas when we were there it was dead!

We're hoping to rent ours but this process is taking forever, It'll be worth it i'm sure.

Post again when you arrive home, good to know whats going on when we can't be there.
