I think we are all in the same boat .I think our only chance is for some sort of agent that can generate some sort of rent but with Oasis already on site that is not looking like an option .I purchased every thing I was asked to including spending a fortune on curtains from the local supplier to be then told there was no market for the two bed .

When purchasing I told it was the two beds that would make the money .Oasis then got me a long term tenant, took there finders fee having checked NO  references .When the tenants stopped paying the rent after one month Oasis pointed out that was nothing to do with them and walked away .

I thought when we got our committee together  there might be light at the end of the tunnel but again we seem to have ground to a halt  despite the hard work put in by all concerned.

I have asked has anyone heard of the Paramount Theme Park or if it is just a sales gimmick to sell PolarIs World propertys but no one seems to know or if they do arent saying. I think we all need to pray for an eartquake that way maybe the insurance will pay the bank and we can walk away( hahaha) 

Sorry i dont have anything positive to offer but like yourself I think it is the end of the road for me also.

We got a tenant in January and were happy until yes you guessed it they stopped paying bills and rent!!

This began in march with no explanation or notice and we are at a loss at the moment as what to do.

Can anyone advise ....please

I would like to send a LARGE THANK YOU to our neighour Fernando Ballesta .I purchased a mirror in ikea and discovered to my horror the nails I was using were not working and were making a large hole in the plaster work ,

I called to Fernando around 10pm looking for help he stopped what he was doing and brought me to his storage room were he loned me a drill raw plugs srews srewdriver and any thing else I needed The job was finished in 5 minutes .I have plenty on my walls now but if any of you are only starting fitting your apartment out i would highly recommend purchasing some tools as the plaster work in not the best surface to work with .

The site has not been all plain sailing for a lot of us who hoped we would be at home watching our investment grow but all is not lost when we have neighbours like Fernando.I met  other owners for first time while out there and they are  really nice people I believe the success of this site will be down to us all  pulling  together united we stand divided we fall.

Thanks for the response Fernando,

Maybe it would be an idea to inform any owners who are interested to get involved in this forum, would it be possible or realistic to do this?

I appreciate that the issues concerning rentals is not initailly of any concern to those who live there but it could be of interest in the future if there were any issues arising as a result of rentals.

hi all

After reading fernandos advice re issues of concern being included on the `orden de dias I contacted francisco who is the administrator for Spa Valley and raised any concerns I had and also requested that such concerns i.e.Votes, rentals, minutes and agenda in english I was told that teh community meetings are only to deal with issues concerning residents and not those of us who are investors or interested in renting our property. This is very disturbing considering we all pay community fees so do those of us not in a position to live out there should put up or shut up. I did forward the response to the selling agent Aquarius and await their response
