l hve just completed. l had told my lawyer that until all faults had been rectified l would not be in a position to complete. The reason why l was able to complete was down to Jane who carried out my snagging. She has spent a lot of time up at MHV doing snagging and has a very good working relationship with Marco the site manager. She was able to get the work done on my apartment to a very good standard. She was also able to negotiate and get them to do work that they had initially said was not possible. The report that she delivers along with photographic evidence is very comprehensive. lt is translated into spanish so lawyers, developer and site manager also have a copy to work from.

l am now on a countdown as l now have 15 days from signing for a builders clean to be organised this will further highlight any further areas that need to be sorted. This can of course only be done when the electricity has been switched on. Within this time l am arranging for all appliances to be tested. Boiler to be heated up to check for hot water, washing machine to be run, dishwasher to be run, cooker to be switched on, air conditoning tested etc etc. This again needs to be done within the 15days.

l also need to change the locks on front door and store cupboard this is very important as when l picked up the keys l was given only 4 sets as the other set is on site.

Regarding the 300 euro l believe it is a one off that we all have to pay. Community charges have not yet been decided upon l did ask my lawyer and Grupo. l believe that there is a meeting in August which l will definitely be going to. lf you are unable to attend but want me to ask them any questions on your behalf then please contact me.l think as many of us possible should go as it is our community .

It is beginning to look very good up there the views are still as wonderful as ever and it is so peaceful. l have spent quite a bit of time up there recently so please if you have any questions then e mail me.

lf you have not yet completed then l suggest that you make sure that your snagging is done to the highest of standards as there is no going back if items are not identified or are  not on the initial snagging list. lt takes about 3-4 hours to do the initial snagging l was there and l could see how comprehensive it is. l then had to have two more visits done to review the work that had been carried out. The way l look at it we have spent a large amount of money on these apartments and we want them to be delivered to us in the best possible condition and this will totally depend on who we get to snag our apartments.

l am looking forward to going out there again very shortly.

We also completed on our property last Tuesday 29 May.

Our snagging was also done by Jane.  It took a whole day and there were over 100 faults identified.  But the best thing about using Jane was that she managed to get them down to only a handful of items by the time we completed.  We did get Grupo to provided a written assurance that the outstanding items would be completed within 30 days of completion... let's hope they stick to there assurance.

Jane's team carried out the builders clean over the weekend and found a couple more items to add to the list.  The biggest hold-up in finishing the post-completion snag has been the slow pace of connecting the electricity... as of yesterday, the electricity had still not been switched on in our apartment.

l think that anyone that is still yet to complete would be far better going to Jane  to  sort out their snagging as she has done quite a number  already at Marbella Hill View .

She knows the site manager and the workers and can really get them to work on our behalf. l have seen at first hand what was needed to be remedied and actually what she managed to achieve in a very short space of time.

l employed her and l was her client and even though l was in touch with Raquel and my lawyers it was Jane that was able to negotiate the work and also she worked to make sure that the snagging was sorted  out within my time scale. l had flown out  to review what was done and also to complete which l was able to do within my time frame.

I can only endorse what PDD says. Jane is superb - incredibly thorough and very professional. We too are using her for snagging & the builders clean.
