Hi Everyone - I had a couple of renters in my apartment last week who had problems with getting the 20% discount for golf that they were entitled too - anyone else had any problems? Its going to be a pain if people have to argue for the discount from Roda - maybe they should have a transferrable card or something? Anybody got any opinions?

Not had a problem yet with renters because we have not completed but we had a problem trying to get our own discount for a round of golf as an owner.   This was last year so the system may have changed now but they had to find our name on a computer list and it took ages.  They finally found it but by this time there was a long queue in the pro shop and it was a bit embarressing. 

Perhaps owners should have some sort of membership card to show in the shop or pass the number onto tenants?  How does the security work then?  Can anyone drive in the gates of Roda?  I thought when we completed (phase 3) we would be given some sort of security pass.  How does anyone know who are owners, tenants or imposters?!

A few weeks ago I went to the Golf Shop to check on the procedure to receive the discount and I completed a form which showed my name and apartment number. When the owner or a visitor goes to book golf they check if you are registered and  they should then give you the discount.

Not tried to play yet but thats what I was told.

does anyone know if we get discount when having meals and drinks at the clubhouse

We were given 10% on proof of owner with driving lic. They have list on the computer of all purchasers.

WE go out WEd 23rd to check on progress of Faze2.

Just returned from trip to Roda and customer services told me that there are 'owners cards' being printed for all phase 1 owners at the moment.  Eventually every resident will have this card which will entitle them to the relevant discounts.  Not sure how this will work for tenants that rent but as the development gets bigger they certainly do need to get a system in place.  We waited for ages till they could find our name on the computer to confirm our ownership!
