AN ELECTRONIC COMPONENT SUPPLIER NEEDED - SAN JAVIER/ALCAZARES?

I've just finished designing an AC/DC power-supply & distribution circuit (Auto / Semi-auto with Manual-overide) but need several discreet electronic components to finally complete it. Might anyone know of any kind of local supplier of electronic components? I used 'Maplins' in the UK and sometimes 'Ebay' here, but when P&P is added, plus the time taken for delivery, it doesn't work very well. A radio/TV, etc, repair shop might do, or something similar. Is there one?

Computer repair shops are a no-no as they do not use electronic parts - only simple boards and cards. Very limited in their application and hardly rocket-science.

Radio-Shack used to be a good source, sited all over Europe - so might anyone know if any of their stores are still around? I've surfed the net, unsuccessfully, but you never know, one might still survive.

Might anyone know of any kind of local supplier or repairer? Please?

I'm really hoping there will be the sort of place here where I could easily drop into on a daily basis and head for home with what I need. I've previously bought items from Ebay, but as I said, the P&P plus delivery time is annoying. I've also bought bits from China, and even though P&P is usually gratis the delivery is approx' one month. All very well but when I'm constructing something I prefer to have the parts toot-suite so I can get it working - or not.

In all probability I will more-than-likely will not require your help, but you can be Plan-Z, just in case. For this reason you have still earned a beer. lol

Hi I used to repair PCBs myself and regularly used either RS Compnents, Farnell or CPC all in the UK unfortunately so don't know their overseas P&P but might be worth a look. I have been repairing a particular item via Ebay for over 6 years now and hoping I can continue when in Spain.
