Why don't all the Presidents get together and find out how many owners are prepared to seek legal representation for our rights to what we were promised when we bought our properties. which included Pool facilities, no mention of three months a year only. Facilities round the pool for the community, we now have a drinks machine I believe. The park opposite our apartment on Nectarina is a total eyesore, our view last summer was watching youths gather to light fires consume  beer and then leave smashed bottles everywhere for our children and pets to cut themselves on. we never got the park promised for familes to enjoy.

Im sure other owners would be prepared to fight for what we were promised. We should be able to run our own pool and maintenance, through our community.

I agree. Can we not do something. Our grandchildren are out in April and I am now looking for pools. So sad...... How can this happen. Can we all not look into taking over the pool ourselves .

Hi

Yes we need representation. As we are not resident out there its hard to arrange, that why it would be best to go through our Presidents to find how many of us are prepared to get advice on our concerns as it effects us all with our properties. Who would want to buy a property that has no amenities. doesnt help the value.

Also is another concern that the pool at the moment is said to be uncovered. Shurely this is going to cause the pool damage and will take a lot of cleaning. I also would think that the presidents are well aware of people's unhappiness about the pool.

Hi there , we bought on the first phase and are very upset about what has happend to TARAYS DREAM VILLAGE  We also dont live in Spain and so find it hard to keep up with whats going on. We totaly agree that TARAY has not fulfilled his promise  that he made to all of us. When we questioned about it once we were told this isnt England its SPAIN we dont go by english rules. We try to get over occasionaly and are very disapointed at what we see. WE were all so happy and optomistic in 2006. WE would like to put our name to any challenge about the pool. Kind regards  Sandra and John

Just returned home and the pool looks like a tip. The grass is long and weeded . The pool area is dirty. But taray have there wish still the keep fit going and taking over what was the bar and paddle courts still going but the pool is a forgotten area. We are going to ask in next Agm if it can be proposed we have the pool as promised as a communal pool with our own access.

TARAY certainly let us all down.  I agree with sk why don't they just let us have the pool area to look after and access whenever we need it?  This is what happens on Phase 1 and what we were promised when we bought in 2006.  We had such high hopes then - hopefully at the AGM's enough pressure can be brought by owners to have something constructive done.  I will be out there on the 15th May for two weeks but, from what people are telling me, will certainly not be happy!!

Work has started to get the pool ready for the summer. The grass has been cut

, the children's pool has been cleaned and it looks like they are starting to clean the main pool. The bar is under new ownership. We have just met the new owner, he seemed really pleasent, spoke some English and told us he is hoping to open this coming Thursday (12 th). Although it's not ideal that the pool is not open all year at least it will open !  Now everyone needs to support the bar & pool so they stay open !

Juner, M\any thanks for this update.  You have made my day as I arrive on Sunday for two weeks and have quite a few friends coming over too!  Have always supported the pool bar and always will.  Looking forward to meeting the new person who is going to run it.  Always thought Paco and his wife were given a rough deal by Taray.  Regards Pinot

Just come back from the new Cuban bar that has opened on the development. Really nice people, lovely tapas, looks like a good menu and nice atmosphere. They are planning to have "Cuban nights" and possibly further entertainment. Well worth a visit !

Hi everyone, we have just bought a property on what I think is phase 2 and are due to come over for the first time tomorrow. Am feeling slightly worried now as good friends who have just picked up the keys for us have said although the pool is filled it is not open and I'm going to have 2 very upset little kids with me if they can't go swimming. Was led to believe when we bought the pool would have been open by now, I suppose I'll find out when I get there

Hi Scraf1. Which number have you bought?  If you have bought on phase 2(especially Manzana 8) the pool is always locked for safety but not closed. However, during the winter most think it is too cold. I have being thinking or replying to this thread for some time but don't want people to take it the wrong way. We obviously have a pool but were always told by Taray that we pay more for this. However, I am just as cross as others that the large pool is shut in the winter. We used to use it and I felt it was a nice pool and I would have used it last winter if it would have been open. I am concerned about the previous posts saying that phase 1 are looking at trying to run the pool. We also were promised by Taray when we bought that we would have use of the large pool at reduced rates and that was never intended that it would be a phase 1 pool. I hope this will be considered at the AGM and any meetings with Taray. I know we already have a nice pool, but like others have said we only want what we were promised

Hi

we like u are totally disgusted with the way we have been treated regarding the pool we are on manzanita 1 and have been here since day 1 we had to fight for years for the pool to be built  and payed extra for the facility in the cost of the property and now it's only opened for what seems to be a short term at least you have a pool that you can use a lot more than we can use ours  I hope something is done so the pool is opened all year and hopefully everyone will benefit from this but I really feel we have been sold down the river and Taray couldn't care less

We have just returned home and whilst there intended to support the pool. However from 9am until 12 the pool and surrounding areas are full of Spanish school children. Which means not only do we have the pool for just three months we can only use it after lunchtime. Very dissapointed

Very disappointed to read about your experience regarding the pool.  This is totally unacceptable but what can be done about it?  I was out there for two weeks in May fully expecting to be able to swim in our pool!!  It wasn'y opening until 1st June so we were back home by then.  Some of the original purchasers did have deeds which stated that our property price included the pools we would have built on the site.  A few of us started to try and get everyone together (with those deeds) to sue Taray.  Unfortunately only a handful of us would go ahead with it so it died a death!   Now to hear that the pool is only available in the afternoons is totally unacceptable!!  We did hear Taray had no responsibility now for the pools etc. - who is responsible?  If someone out there knows the answer to that please let us know and perhaps we can start doing something about it.  "Sold down the river" is not strong enough for what Taray has done to us all!!   Look forward to hearing if anyone knows who is now responsible for the Aquadel Centre.
