Hi Simon,

I represent Murcia Villas and as an agent we would be able to help with both your sale on Mar Menor and your purchase on Hacienda del Alamo (which is the resort I cover).

As to which phase you would like to buy on it really is a matter of personal choice as each phase has different pros and cons.

Are you over in Spain at the moment? please feel free to drop me a line and I can let you know what's available in more detail.

Regards

Tom Stevenson

I have visited most Urbanisations in the Mazarron/Fuente area, some good some bad but I was quite impressed with the Hacienda del Alamo development -  it is head and shoulders above all the others. An urbanization would not be my choice but if I wanted an urbanization it would  deffo be Hacienda. Before I get my head bitten off………. Not wishing to live on an urbanization is only my personal choice, thousands do and enjoy it, so it’s each to their own.

I have been on HDA find a very nice place & very quiet, some my say its to quiet but that how i like things, i have had a couple of properties on La Torre and in the summer it can be noisy in and around the town centre and the noisy travels if it is loud.I cant see HDA  being over run with idiots in the summer. And some nice villas on the resort and with apts starting from 40k look like a bargain for a resort that is well maintained and finnished.

Hi Simon Firstly good choice !!! We loved Mar Menor but the prices were above and beyond what we wanted to pay but this reflects everything being up and running. At HDA its still emptyish and quiet and has yet to reach its goals and dreams but I can see it getting there eventually. I love all phases for different reasons. The villas are spread out vastly giving the sense of space which is what makes this resort much better than others. The Olivos apartments at the lower / entrance end are big modern apartments with many pools and within walking distance of the sports area / bar and Spaniard Inn for food and drinks. The Spanish pueblo is at the top end of the resort but is close to the Golf Club House and Irish Bar. I prefer the top end but thats just my preference. All facilities are within walking distance. Spanish Pueblo apartments are lovely, typically spanish, a rustic feel set in a tranquil spanish village - perfect. If you want a lock up and leave then apartments are ideal with no maintenance for gardens etc which I am sure you are aware of. There are many phases and sooo many different properties on this resort, all spaced out and all different so it all depends on what you are willing to spend......whichever you choose you will sure get a bargain on this resort. And once,if ever corvera airport opens then whatever you buy will be even more rentable and increase in value for sure !!! Happy holiday home shopping :)
