Please could you answer a few question for me.

Could you tell me what the community fees are for a 2 and 3 bedroomed apartment and what this covers.

Is there a restaurant and supermarket on site.

Is the golf course closed.

Is Corvera village actually in safe walking distance.

Can you buy directly from the bank and which bank owns the properties.

We have heard negative comments about Corvera golf, but the properties look nice and they appear to be competitive on price. We are coming to murcia next week to look at properties and have asked to view on Corvera, but I would like a little information before I arrive.  How does this compare to Condado de Alhama as we have stayed here a couple of times and liked the site.

Thanks

Hi Tracey

The golf course has closed and probably will never open again, the urbanisation is sparsley populated and fairly isolated apart from the village of Corvera which is walkable in about 20 minutes but you will need a car.

Condado has its golf course but again is isolated being about 20 mins by car from either Alhama or Totana and 30 mins from Mazarron Port.

If you are considering a purchase look at Mazarron Country Club where you will find an excellently maintained urbanisation with community fees of around 40 Euros per month dependent on property size, could be much lower.

There is no golf course but there are many within 40 mins and Camposol just 15 mins away.

Good luck

Barry

having just spent a week at Corvera i can inform you that the golf course is temporarily closed but the clubhouse is still open and the gym facilities etc and there is still  live entertainment at the weekends and hiring out tof he function room etc. The development is quiet at the moment but having visited others locally they are all in the same boat in winter months. The village has several new restaurants opening and wiith the airport becomeing ever more closer in opening and even Paramount theme park have had there goverment loan approved  so there has been a lot more interest in purchasing property on Corvera and there are definately more having been purchased already. If anyone is thinking of purchasing, take it from someone who already has a property there and get in before they announce the airport opens to grab a bargain, although be warned a lot of the villas are being held back for sale at the minute as they know when the airport is opened there will be a lot more interest.

when is the course due to reopen after its temporary close ?

it is reported the theme park loan is 17 million euros and with an estimated build cost in the region of a billion euros that is some shortfall ! given that they have been trying to sucure fundung worldwide for a number of years without success its difficult to see where the shortfall is going to come from add to that the news that the director of the murcia tourist board arrested for alleged corruption makes you wonder what is actually happening .

Makes you also wonder who those idiots are Europe, cannot decide if a loan to an airport  that has been built is legal but throw another few million of taxpayers money at a project that has no hope on earth of being funded or built.

Wonder who will pocket the loan supposedly offered to a dubious Paramount project.

No wonder Farage is gaining support.

I would suggest you look at Hacienda del Alamo while you are in  the area.

Great golf course and the prices are low at the moment.
