Hi. Guys!!

Does any one have any good suppliers of furniture around the condado resort? A friend of mine is purchasing / completing very shortly on this resort and any useful information would be greatly appreciated..
Is it cheaper to buy independently from local outlets or as a package?

Is anyone selling any reasonably priced furniture / white goods / tv's etc...

How is the resort doing at the moment?

Are there any reasonably priced 'handymen / electricians around this resort?

Also.. How much is the community fees per year, electric , water etc..?
Is there nothing they need to know in advance.. Etc..

Any assistance will be much appreciated..!!

Kind Regards

Hi Samue

Welcome to the resort .

I have been working on CDA as an Electricion & Handyman for the last six years so perhaps I can help you and make your move a little less stresfull .

There  are quite a few Furniture Outlets around the area both Spanish & English , also a very large IKEA in Murcia , which as you know can be as cheap or as dear as you want !!! .

For White Goods I would use Euronics on Camposol as they are local and if there are any problems there after sales  service is second to none .

If you would like to chat a bit further please feel free to contact me on one of the numbers below;

Are all the 2beds the same price in terms of the community fees? Around 200 euro per quarter!

Do you know how they have got to 160 euro PCM sounds crazy !!

we were advised to put aside 400e for the connections, but as we bought a re-sale they were already hooked up so we had no connection fees

when we collected our keys our lawyer had it all sorted in the time it took to drive from his office to condado.

with the water  it was just a case of millenium turning on the valve. and  the power was already on.

worth while checking this out with you lawyer.

Hi Samuel, I will be at Condado this weekend to set up our apartment. We sent over our own furniture but it appears that there was some confusion and we now also have a furniture pack that was allocated to us. Not sure until after the weekend but we will certainly have some duplicated items such as beds, cabinets, shower screen.....if you're still looking let me know and I'll send you a list of what we have when we get back. I shall put whatever is available up for sale anyway but it will all be brand new and available at our apartment and we have a keyholder on site to allow for collection.

Regards, Dionne

Hi, one of the utility companies charges 160 for the metre and the other 200... Its an initial payment to have the metre installed. kitchenman was lucky but for the vast majority these charges have to be paid. Also when the electric metre is installed the elecnor man wants 20 euro for the fuse!!

Assume the 160 pcm was just confused with the metre charge. community fees bary from garden to garden but 2 beds are approx 240 and 3 beds 295.

Samuelf123, we are resident here. If you need further information, feel free to message me,

Hi. Last year after purchasing we were advised to put 500 euros into our account to cover community fees, electric and water connection but my advice is to set aside a little more as we were not given exact connection costs by our lawyer and in the end things cost a little more than expected and as a result our water was cut off unexpectedly and cost 50 euros to reconnect.
