Hi,

I'm looking for the membership prices for AQUADEL but the PDF link on their website appears to be broken. Having looked through the forum i cannot see up to date prices.

Any help would be great.

Regards,

Darren

Yup. Yet again Taray/Aquadel are out for the greed route and charging €5 for an adult and €3 for a child per day although there are better deals for 7 & 15 deals.

They must have a tie up with the airlines as they put their prices up during the school holidays and then drop them when the kids go back to school !!!!!!!

The pool area is virtually empty but for the seasonal regulars who have no choice but to be ripped off !!!!!

We all waited so long for our lovely pool and now we just get stabbed in the back as usual by high prices.

Went in the centre for some food last night and it was empty !!!! No entertainment is planed until the 18th August.

Shame really. If the right people had been granted the lease, they could have made something of the place but if it's constantly empty, then I can't see that it's going to last very long, especially when all the summer vacation Brits have gone home ????

Happy holidays just bring a bundle of €'s with you to go swimming. Sorry for bad news but better to be warned !!!!!!

Not sure that €160 for 15 days for family of 5 is too bad, is it? Or even €5 / €3 per day especially when you think there is always a lifeguard on duty to watch the kids.

Sitting in Aquadel now - looks fairly busy to me - pool and bar.

Entertainment last night, and more planned for next few weeks - may not be to everyone's liking but can't fault the effort.

Had good food on Thursday evening - 5 people with drinks for €36 - can't complain at that, and always a pleasant welcome.

It's for us to use and support, or to lose.

Personal choice I guess.

Bit mistified ref sick notes posting as i am sure i have been at entertainment in the aquadel for the month of july.... which were twice weekly alongside a quiz night on a friday night.

Personally we have annual family membership with the view that its good value for money as it includes swimming, use of the gym etc.  Cannot fault the facilities as there is a lifeguard in attendance at all times, pool and facilities are clean and well maintained.

Having friends with properties where they pay for pool maintainence built into their annual charges, I can only feel that personally we have a very good deal. Our pool, unlike others can be used all year round. The staff are excellent and very helpful. The addition of the gym, whilst small is very well recieved by all. The classes are an added bonus.

The bar is good, and its really great to see it also being used by locals and groups. The food is good and as per rob and becky I would say the value is excellent.

I think perhaps we should be thankful that we have a pool and a development that is continuing to try and develop. Perhaps some would pefer to see it being closed so they have another reason to moan??

I would also highlight that to those who are trying to sell their properties, a smart pool complex which can be used all year round is a huge plus on a selling point.

Still you cant please everybody.....

I am fully agree with irishfinn and vienna. I think the leisure center is a added bonus to the properties here in SC. In Spain, there is not so many places where you can swim indoor during the winter for only 3 euro. It is so delightful to swim here in the winter when the sunlight is shining through the glass roof. Indeed, I am very appreciated of the development we have here cool

I'm afraid that the recent posts must have been made by people who have not owned since the begining of Taray San Cayetano.

It's in your contract that Taray (not Aquadel) provide a pool and we all expected to pay a yearly fee for the use of it as per Phase Two do ???

I was incorrect about the entertainment when I posted last, there were no adverts at that time. Over the last 3 weeks there have been singers etc twice a week and some have been very good, others maybe not so.

What is sad is that Taray have only allowed Paco & Maria to use the tiny area as you walk into the bar, for this entertainment. There is a much larger area to the left that last year was used and for some reason, Taray have decided they don't want this area used. Personally, I feel sorry for the poor singers having to entertain such a small amount of people in such a small area !!!!! At times it must have been embarasing for them !!!!

As for the food, I agree it's great as pool snacks and lunch bites but I don't really feel that a toasted sandwich is sufficient for an evening meal ????

I think long term Taray just want to maximise the amount of money they can extract from the centre, maybe to pay their court fees for the unpaid community charges that all the owners of the various Manzana's pay on time.

As for the Lifeguard, sitting reading a book or on the phone is not really being a Lifeguard,  but I admit that this was only one of the team that did it. The others were very good. Always a bad apple.

hi sicknote,

just to clarify, we are on phase one. Bought back in feb 2006, and at that early stage I was advised clearly that the pool would be a communal pool where there would be a charge for usage.

Perhaps you were advised differently.

regards

finn
