Hi,

I have just purcahased a apartment in block 165...it is on the third floor .. Can anyone tell me if I need to get mosquito screens ...since Im on the third floor Im not so sure what the mosquito situation is in Teraazas..Also is it necessary to get an air conditioner..? I presume it is but the polaris world lady suggested I open the patio doors and windows and the air would be enough to cool  the place down..not so sure I trust that...any advice would be greatly appreciated...

Thanks,

Trevor

mosquito/fly screen are useful as you can leave everything open and not worry about getting bitten, but not a necessity. For the record I'm having them fitted.

Personally I'd say air con is a must especially in the bedroom temperatures can get into the 40's In the summer months. I've stayed on le torre for many years both with and without air con and sleeping without it is horrible imo.

individual units are about 600 euros fitted or a 3 into 1 system is about 2400 euros fitted.

Hi,

We have been on Terrazas for 3 years & have found that you need some sort of heating in the evenings in the winter months, & air con in the summer months. We have 3 unites one in each bedroom & one in the lounge, they are duel unites called inverters.

We also have mosquitos blinds fitted on all the windows & a door screen, as Richard has said this allows you to leave your windows & door open.  We are not on the Las Isla blocks, I would imaging being surrounded by water you would have more problems with mosquitos.  We got bitten quit a few times on our last visit just sitting on our back terrace & on the golf course.

If you need any info on who to contact for mosquito screens just  P.M me.

   Regards

                 Clieve
