I have read what Maria has written in her blog and sent an E -mail to find out more. They are looking for People who have been ripped off by Aifos . now is the time for anyone , in the same situation as me, to contact Maria and her team at Maria de Castro of Costa Luz Lawyers in Algeciras (Cadiz). So all I can say is contact her and perhaps as a group we stand a better chance against larger institutions. The more people that get involved, the smaller the cost. Lets try and confront the situation together NOW! Peter (Aventura)

Sorry Peter, I only just noticed this thread after looking at another one earlier.

Btw, I took your advice and have instructed Costa Luz to act on my behalf.

Have you any idea of how many are in the 'group'?

hello fazarelli

I would be very interested to Know how many more people have contacted maria at Costaluz Lawyers? I have no Idea ,and have heard nothing from them since I contacted them in 2012. I know that unless they can get enough people  together it will not be worth going ahead so I would Urge any body who had  paid deposits to Aifos to contact them and then perhaps we could get our money back with interest.  I would like any news from anybody on this subject. Aventura

Peter, you'd better get in contact with Maria again because she has started preliminary action. She is getting the administrators to reveal information about the bank accounts that the deposit money was paid into, amongst other things. Once she knows that, then she can issue proceedings against the relevant bank(s).

I'm pretty sure that anyone reading these forums will know about the action and has subsequently decided whether they want to pursue that avenue or not.
