Hi

We are like everyone else still waiting for any news, have tried solicitors whom are unhappy to take this on and contacted the absolutely useless spanish Aifos Staff/ Called Aifos in uk and got nowhere although they do answer the phone!!!!

Is anyone still attempting court action? I feel we missed the boat for this anyone else looking to start court action now?

What an absolute joke of a company Aifos are.  Spain, never again for us i am afraid.

the following email was sent to me by my spainish solicitor after i read the message posted by ahandley on 2nd april.

Miguel Angel Santini (Aifos Marbella) has confirmed that no building or top of the buildings has been demolished.  The situation in Cortijo is still the same, that Aifos is waiting from the Junta de Andalucia to approved the project and this could take another 5 months, so the project now is:

Block D1 and D2 (block 8, 9 and 10) the building work are carrying out as normal.

Block A1, A2, B1, B2 and B3 (block 1-5) the building work has been stopped following orders from the Town Hall

And Block C (block 6 and 7) the building work is paralyzed.

I wonder if a LFO will be issued for D1 and D2 on completion. That would give owners of properties in those blocks wonderful views of a building site for many years to come. Disaster.

Might be a better idea to give the owners canoes ( or at the very least wading boots ! ) After all the rain we've been having it's an absolute quagmire down there.
