 Hi

Please corect me if I am wrong, but I thought if you owned a Villa you were not allowed to use the communal pools (it say's on the pool rules by all the pools that only the apartments and town houses can use communal pools ONLY).  We were told when we bought our apartment that the villas all have enough space to either have a small or large pool, and were not allowed to use the communal pools as they have different community charges to us, and do not contribute to the community pool what-so-ever, so are not allowed to use them, is this still the case.  If so why do some company's still sell Villas and say that they have the use of a community pool?

xam

Hi - You are absolutely correct ! I suppose they are using it as a selling tool. We have had a family of 8 from the villas in our pool making a load of noise and they would not have it they werent allowed to use it. In the end security had to be called (not when I was there !) and they were removed !

I also agree. Perhaps all Villa owners that don't have pools should be made to contribute to the communal pools areas,

After all we are all Taxed for renting our properties regardless of  whether they are let out or not.

I read on another forum that Its probably a good idea to have as much activity as possible in the pools as this causes them to clean out a lot more through the overflow systems. This will in turn prevent ear infections and so on caused by stagnent water.

Hi, everyone, as a villa owner who personally doesn't use a pool or want to, I would however be interested in contributing to the upkeep of a pool to enable my children & grandchildren to have the facility when they visit me. The pools on phase four would be most convienient and as they are pretty much empty most of the time, I wonder if anyone could point me in the right direction to discuss this solution which may also be of help to the community financially.

My villa is not rented out so it would only be for visiting family & friends.

Kind regards
