Trees at Condado getting a severe haircut

Out here at the moment, and we´re witnessing the roadside trees being pruned within an inch of their lives.  Not a single branch or leaf is being spared. And they were coming along so nicely  !

They did this on la torre some time ago, people kicked off but the trees now look great.

They did it to the Bougainville last year as well, look devastating afterwards, but a month later when i went back out the growth was twice as thick as before the haircut

ML website sent out an email to advise everyone and the reason, which seeemd to be a standard process for continued good drowth.

There is pruning to encourange good growth and there is cutting to within an inch of extinction! Trees look like sticks unless you go down by the early gardens (by old "sports area") where they have leaves and branches and look like trees.  Perhaps this is just because they haven't got round to "encouraging good growth" there yet.

The trees were pruned this time last year , and will be for a few years yet to encourage the groth as Jann says.
