BUYING PARCEL OF LAND FOR COMMERCIAL USE???

hi all,

i have posted these 3 photos taken at balsicas site on tuesday. no special reason other than it maybe of interest to those completing soon. the first shows the power generator and water tank for the first rows of terraced properties. there are a few residents in already and they have had a few power cuts, but seem happy enough. the generator was quite noisy i have to say. the second photo shows the piping going to each property. i took the photo at the corner of the road and the pipe went up over the lamp post here to avoid vehicles. personally i think it looks a bit of a mess. the 3rd photo shows a new up and over road being built to cross the railway line. the road runs right next the first row of terraced properties which included the show house which some of you may remember. i have posted this because exactly 1 year ago we viewed this site and were told nothing about this new bridge. it will be very similar to the one at san cayetano which you cross over to get back to los alcazares. we spoke to some residents who are not best pleased because this is right up against this first row and personally i would be gutted if i had bought here and found this out later.

i looked at this site aswell and agree it looks a messy at the minute . it just goes to show we really dont know how san cayetano is going to end up lets just hope it all goes well.

to be honest i dont belive a word taray say not just taray all developers.

hi iain,

no need to worry. san cayetano is looking really good i have to say. pipes and hoses will only be temperary whilst on builders supply. we went back to a number of developments again that we originally viewed last year and our site is still the best by far. ( well i would say that ! )

p.s within the pics i posted 12/2/07 include some showing the quads in phase 4 ? i think ?  there was a gap in the fence and i went in to take them. the builders were all busy and no one noticed me. i saw a big difference in that area of the site since last there at the end of oct.

We have bought a bungalow on block 5 at the very far end of the site(the first block in the row of three) facing inwards towards the site/village.Please could you confirm or deny that your first 6 photos posted on 12 Feb are infact of our block? And if so, from where were they taken and in which direction?

Where is the railway line in relation to san cayteano and where is this up and over road starting and finishing

up and over road across railway line is right next to taray development in balsicas. 

balsicas is next major town along the  c-3319 road towards murcia.  miles way !

photo's 1 - 6, 43377  plus photos 1 - 3, 39870  run from left to right in a panoramic swoop showing the whole development. if you were to print these off on your copier you could piece together to produce one picture.

turning left from the sales office car park i drove up this road and stopped at the corner of a builders merchants. i can't remember the name of the place but they sell stone and slates and tiles etc... i stood up on the edge of the wall at the corner and snapped them from here. go onto google earth - try and set your pointer on these co-ordinates at approx 820 metres elevation and you can see exactly which direction i was facing.

The bungalows/penthouses on Blocks 5 & 6 are developing quickly, as is everything else. It all looks lovely - looking forward to seeing it for real !

just a thought about my first post on this thread i made talking about builders supply at other sites and how cables and pipes around  the development might not look very good. well i had an email message from alan and sheila ( aka volfen )  pointing out that we at san cayetano will have water and electricity straight from the national grid at taray's expense ? i wasn't sure about this because at every other development we saw they had to put up with hoses and generators etc.. but then i suddenly remembered that we were in our house a couple of times last week and we tried all the taps and flushed the toilet and it filled up as normal and since there are no pipes around then it looks like volfen is right !

excellent for our site if this is the case. i did wonder at the time about all the bare wiring from the ceilings in each room but thought it best not to test this theory here!!!...

Hi all

i recived a photo of my quad plot 76 block 5 and it looks 50%built but my completion date is june 08 which i cant understand do you think they will bring the date forward?

i have posted the picture on here its the one further away with the guy on the roof.

im going out there on monday cant wait and just booked 3 weeks in august

Are you sure you have got your completion date of June 08 correct?

According to the plan I have from Taray, Plot 76 is in phase 1 of Bolck 5, We are in phase 2 of Block 5 and have a completion date of March 08, which is 3 months earlier.

yes im 100% sure that is the date on my contract and they told us that half was ready for march 08 and half june 08 so i went for june cos i wanted end plot. i hope they got it wrong it will make my day and the more i think about it now i bet its going to be ready for dec 07.

is there any immediate neighbours near me who has been told different?

 ive just looked at completion email from my solicitor and it says 30/07/2008 which cant be right i dont belive its 17 months away when its built now

im going out on monday so hopefully i will sort it

Hi Ian and Wendy,

We bought our quad via Parador Properties we are No 56 which is opposite you.............at the moment the structure is going up Parador keep us well informed of what stage the building is at. Our completion date is set for the end of March 2008. Are you sure you have the correct picture of your property? Something makes me think it's a mistake but I maybe wrong.

We are going out to Spain on the 12th March for ten days so will take  more pics then and post them on the site.

The revised completion date of July 08 you have been given, still does not seem to make sense. Once started, the villas seem to go up at a fair old rate. If they are already up to first floor level on yours, as your agent says, can't see them taking another 17 months to complete the building work etc.

It gives us concern as we are in the second phase of block 5 yet have been given completion as March 08, we hope ours hasn't gone back from that date.  We are going out there for a week,  in a couple of weeks time ,so we will get to the bottom of it then, unless anyone comes back with any other information in the meantime

when i first spoke to tarray they told me that june 08 was completion and march 08 for the side your on

i hope your right but ive had confimation from agent and solicitor that july 08 for mine im going out there on monday

for a few days staying at that new hotel on the sqaure hotel 525.

will let you know how it goes
