Things to do....

I'll be over with some of my family from 19th July - 2nd Aug....

Still trying to suss out the area re trains/buses to Murcia and the likes.

Does anyone have any info on things to do/market days/festivals.

The train links in Orihuela city are very good, you can get a train to Murcia which takes you directly into the city in 15mins. You can also go to Alicante from Orihuela too. There are regular buses from alicante airport to the main city as well. From Alicante you can get a train back to Orihuela.

Market days

Tuesday - Orihuela city

Thurs - Bigastro

Fri - Torrevieja

Sun - Lemon Tree market and Zoco. There are more, but these are the main/nearby ones.
