There is a pool meeting for all three phases, The meeting will take place at the Social Center Hurchillo   on Thursday 1st October 2009, 19:30 p.m. in a first call and at 20:00 p.m in a second call. We will find out then about the fees for the pool and whether we will be keeping the same pool maintenance person or not. As far as I know, the community fee is the same fee as last year. Your administrator should be advising you re:costs for your phase and when payment needs to be made. I am sure that in the last meeting with all three phases and all three administrators it was agreed that everyone has to pay all of the fees before the 30th September. Having said that, if the fees go up for the pool(which I don't think they will), they will have to take the extra money off everyone as everyone would have already paid in September. It was also agreed that the pool runs on low maintenance and closed for Nov-March.

 Regards

I cannot remember seeing anything about the pool being closed for 4 to 5 months. Can you tell me where this is documented?

Was this voted on? I was under the impression it was just as cheap to keep it open all year round as it was to drain the water and refill it?

Not too bothered either way.

Cheers

I have re-read the minutes of the pool meeting and I cannot see it anywhere that it is going to be closed. Everyone agreed on it as it will reduce costs. I think they have missed it off the minutes, we didn't actually all vote on it. To be sure on the matter, you could clarify with Dorothy? Maybe on the next meeting, it will be more official.

 regarding the pool

it was pointed out that maintaining the pool over the non busy months would be the better option as to begin maintenance in march/may would be just as costly as more chemicals would have to be used and a bigger first maintenence would be required to bring the pool back up to standard.if pool was to be closed then if the committee is looking to save on electricity, maintenence then why not only have half yearly insurance

.i know the reply will be what if someone jumped over railings and injured themselves?

Hi All,

I was under the impression that nothing really got decided at the August pool meeting due to all the arguing going on!!

(....and it took hours to not make any decisions too !!!!)

I thought decisions were to be made at the September/October meeting instead.

Also, does anyone know what happened about the Phase 3 AGM as I've heard nothing about dates and we're now in October??!?

No one seemed to know anything while I was there in the summer...usually we have a bit of notice and an agenda emailed??!?

Carol x

I think there was a meeting about community charges last night and a meeting about pool charges tonight (Thurs 1st Oct)

I hear community charges are going to be €80 but this might not be exact, should know about pool etc tomorrow.

Maybe someone living there may be able to confirm more

Everyone has different comm. charges, so you will need to contact someone on phase 3 or Ramona. The pool meeting was lastnight, the fee is the same, everyone voted against it, for charges to increase. The pool will also be kept open all year around, as they said the quotation is cheaper for the winter. It costs more apparently, to keep in on low maintenance all winter and then bring it back to the right level next year. Everyone agreed as people can still sit there to sunbathe if they like. Anyway everyone should get minutes from their own administrator about yday.

Regards

Hi all,

Re. the Phase 3 AGM...

It took place last Wednesday evening - the 30th September.  I can confirm that it was agreed at the meeting that the community charge has been increased to €80.  This is in order to build up a little bit of extra cash for future repainting/maintenance of the apartments.  The €80 needs to be paid by the end of December 2009.

At the meeting it was also agreed that Carmen (no. 9) would be President & Rosana (no. 23) would be Vice-President.

As outlined in the previous post the pool meeting took place on Thursday 1st October & the fee for the pool is to remain at €50 for the coming year.

Regards,

Paul & Debbie
