fees when buying apartment

Can anyone give me any help!  When buying our property on the jadines we paid 3500 for our fees, Last week when i was across i picked up the paperwork for the "formalties settlement" acording to this ithe fees came to 2297.83 . The statement says that i am due 1202.17 euros "TOTAL A DEVOLVER" Has anyone else had this and where do the claim the money from?

This is quite normal and it seems your fees were very overestimated, but a nice surprise for you!  The funds should be paid into your account or failing that check with your lawyer on how you will receive this refund.

We had exactly the same when we bought our apartment.

If you used a solicitor they will have this money in their client account, it took me 4 months and 10 emails to get ours refunded but we did get back nearly €2000 in the end.
