Aldea Advisors

Did anyone have Aldea Advisors as their solicitors.  We did, and have been left in limbo.  I have written several emails to them asking for our file, contract and power of attorney back (they are not holding any funds for us).  I have not had any response from them so will have to go via another solicitor, which I was hoping not to have to do.

Unfortuntately my computer corrupted and I cannot find any of my old emails, sent or received.  If anyone has an orginal copy of the email that was sent by the administrators of Aldea Advisors, I would appreciate a copy.  If you reply to this thread, I can then give you my email address.

Hello I am an owner at Condado de Alhama. For those involved with the insolvency proceedings with Aldea Advsors.... I have received an email today from Aldea In Torrevieja demanding I pay them 1, 062,93 Euros. No explanation of what it is for other than they say I owe them the money. In actual fact, they owe me money. Could this be a scam?

I suspect Aldea's paperwork may be in such chaos they haven't a clue who owes them money and who doesn't. In any case since when have companies in liquidation started to demand money?

Anyonme else with any latest news on this?

I also received this email stating I was in debt to them and to pay immediately otherwise they would initiate legal proceedings.  I replied via email stating I would be sending no money and yes in fact they owed me as they had no completed the work.  I have not heard any more from them??

I don't think you will hear any more. I have now found an excellent Spanish lawyer here in England and she has advised me to ignore it. She is trying to contact the liquidator on my behalf and is finding it just as tough as the rest of us!
