Hi there

We purchased off plan in June 2005, we've been told it should be completed in November 2007.  As we are already property owners in the costa del sol we know this is being optimistic.  We would like to hear from anyone else who has purchased in phase 2 or has any photos.

Hi Richard & Paula,

We have an apartment in DJ II, Block 1 and the most of our photos is posted on this site, however we are going there at easter and will take new photos of DJ II as well as the way DJ III will impact our view. So until then we can only hope that some other "viswitors" will upload photos of DJ II and DJ III.

Hi Venlig

We have also purchased in block 1 level 1 and by the picture and by what everyone is saying it sounds as if we're going to have a view of the apartment block in phase 3 which is disappointing.  We were told by the agent that all of phase 2 were getting sea views!

This agent we have used twice before and has been very honest with us, perhaps the agents were not told the truth by the developer.  Our lawyer contacted us in December to tell us that the development was running to schedule and would be ready in November 2007.

We are going to see the apartment in February so hopefully we'll have some more pictures when we get back (if they will let us on the development).

Regards

Richard & Paula

Hi Richard & Paula (again),

When you write level 1, what do you mean? Is the apartment with garden regarded as level 0 (ground level) and then level 1, 2...? If so, then we have the corner apartement in level 2 (closest to the sea). Wich one is yours?

I hope that you will have a good trip on February.

Hi Lars and Ann (hopefully this is correct)

Our apartment is level 1 apartment D we are not sure which one this is as we bought it as a distressed purchase, we don't have any plans of the apartment block but think its a corner one.

It will be good to share a drink or two with you while we are in spain at easter, hopefully by then things will be a bit clearer to whether the building in front of us is blocking our view but i guess there is not too much we can do about it anyway.

Sorry about getting your name wrong before our Danish isn't very good in fact we don't know any!!

Regards

Richard & Paula

From info on the developer's website, I see that Blocks 1,3 &4 in Don Juan II have 4 and 6 apartments per floor while Blocks 2 & 5 have 2 and 4 apartments per floor. The floors are named from the ground up as follows: Semibasement (Semisotano), Ground floor, first floor, second and third floors, and Penthouse, in other words in Blocks 1,3 &4 there are 6 floors in all. Underneath the Semibasement floor is, of course, the Garage. It is clear from the images on the site that the semibasement or lowest floor has 4 apartments A,B,C,& D while the next floor up (Ground floor) has 6 apartments A,B,C,D,E,F. The first, second and third floors have 4 apartments and there are 2 pentouse apartments on the top floor.

Therefore to identify your apartment you need to know exactly which floor you are talking about because in this case Apartment D is the corner one on the semibasement floor but not on the first floor!  Your solicitor will be able to ascertain this from the original contract. In my own case I asked for a English translation of the contract in order to check this matter.

The developers website link is as follows:

http://arrohabitatge.com/html/principal.htm

Hope this is some help to you Richard and Paula.
