What a cheek!!!!!

Just had a look on Masa web site and noticed that the pic for the open villa is MINE, no "can we, would you mined or please!" what a cheek.

Maybe I should ask for commision,

Hi Fromies, I dont think the Masa sight is working again as I just tried it.   I thought they and their developers and their agents had disappeared off the face of the earth.  Can you provide a link to the web site. Cheers G

Yep, Masa web site working fine, I have emailed them regarding payment for use of photo (a bit tonge in cheek, he who dares and all that!!) and surprise, surprise no answer so as Mrs Fromie say's "We should be honoured" mind you she had downed a few ciders at the time.

Changing the subject a little, I read in the papers that Spanish Banks are lending developers money to complete projects started because they feel that once finished they will appeal better to any prospective buyer therefore sell quicker when the recession is over. BBVA is one bank behind this scheme, so it could well be possible that Masa may continue with SG, WE ALL LIVE IN HOPE!!!.

Hi Fromie, why would MASA need to borrow more money from the banks when they have so many properties finished and stood waiting for people to complete on. 

There are hundreds of people on Sierra Golf who have paid their deposit and their houses are just standing there. That is tying up hundreds of thousands of pounds that MASA could recoup if they just signed them over. So what is the problem.  The more people living on Sierra Golf the more prospective buyers would invest.  But when they visit the site and see only a portion of the site lived in, they surely must be asking the question - WHAT IS HAPPENING TO THE REST OF THE HOUSES - ARE THEY FOR SALE, WHAT IS WRONG WITH THEM?

We paid our deposit in 2006 and believe it or not it only needed the garden wall and the roads which have been completed for years, road markings for one way system, zebra crossings, tree lined pavements ...................... no residents. .......................... AND NO ANSWERS.

It was only what I read in the papers.

As for m11, it does seem some sort of a problem and as you say one that nobody can answer only Masa!! maybe they are ilegally built, who knows only Masa!! We waited 4 years for our villa and like yours was finished and ready to move into for 2 of them before it was released.

For you not knowing whats going on must be a nightmare, it's a have you have'nt you situation and I for one could'nt live like that and would more than likely have ended up in some sort of mental home so hats off to you for lasting this long.

I know this is'nt any consulation to your plight but I assume you know all about Rob & Sue who bought on m11, they managed to swop vila's and are very happy with it, would it be something you could do?

Are you sure its your house on the advert ? there are no cider bottles on the terrrace, perhaps Massa got a bit tiddly on the fumes.

Joking aside, we are glad we asked massa to let us swop to this house, we would still have been waiting for it now.

There have been a few families that have done the same as us & I know they are glad they did, they have had 18 months of fun .

We feel sorry for the neighbours we would of had as many of them are waiting for the open plus to be released , they can still change but it would be a different property.

Yes it is our villa!! that we are in no doubt, as for the cider bottles......Masa must have air brushed them out??

We too swopped our M11 for a ready to go M13 house with paperwork, thanks to Rob & Sue doing the same.  We are in it 17 months now and have just come back after 2 1/2 lovely weeks out there.  I happen to know that the house next door to us M13 - 04, an albatros has just become available as the people went for an eagle instead, might be worth asking about.  Masa were delighted to swap ours as it meant getting paid, with no sign of M11 coming on stream. 

Cant help to ask.
